FILTER CARTRIDGE TYPES
- TOP = Melt Blown Absolute Rated Polypropylene
- TREX= Melt Blown Industrial Polypropylene
- WIND= String wound
- CLEAN= Resin bonded Acrylic fiber
- SORB = Extruded Carbon

TOP - PE filter cartridges for absolute-rated filtration
TOP – PE filter cartridges for absolute-rated filtration
TOP cartridges are PE absolute filters with precise filtration accuracy and high dirt-holding capacity.
Designed to meet demand for purer products. TOP absolute filter cartridges are made of 100% pure polypropylene microfibres blown onto the central core, avoiding additives and adhesives. These TOP absolute filters, Double Open End or Single Open End, have FPM O-rings and are silicone-free.
Connections: DOE, SOE, with FPM O-ring
Lengths: 5-10-20-30-40”
Filtration rating: 0,5µ – 120 µ micron
Temperature: maximum 80′ Celsius continuously
Max delta P: 4,0 bar at 25′ Celsius

TREX - PP cartridges for chemical, food and water filtration
TREX – PP cartridges for chemical, food and water filtration
TREX cartridges are PP depth filters with high pore volume and high dirt-holding capacity.
TREX cartridges are made from pure polypropylene melt-blown microfibres, thermally bonded to prevent migration.
TREX DOE (double open end) cartridges have no inner core, meet FDA requirements and are free of binders.
The filters withstand temperatures up to 80C and offer excellent chemical compatibility.
- Filtration rating: 1-3-5-10-20-30-50-75 micron
- Length: 5”–10”–20”–30”–40” and 50” on request
- Internal diameter: 28 mm
- External diameter: 64 mm
- Max temperature: 80 Celsius
- Max delta P: 2,5 bar at 30C

WOUND
WOUND
WOUND cartridges are universal string-wound depth filter elements, widely used for non-critical filtration.
Applications
Water treatment, RO pretreatment, condensate pretreatment, process water, photochemicals, film development, edible oils, solvents, electroplating baths, fats, acids, bases and chemical processes.
- Filtration rating: 0,5-1-3-5-10-25-50-75 micron
- Length: 5”–10”–20”–30”–40”,
- Internal diameter: 28 mm
- External diameter: 62 mm
- Max temperature
- 80 ‘C Polypropylene
- 160 ‘C Cotton
- 400 ‘C Glass fibre
- Max differential pressure: 2,5 bar at 30’C

CLEAN
CLEAN
CLEAN cartridges are acrylic depth filters with very high pore volume and large dirt-holding capacity.
Particularly suited to difficult liquids, resins, emulsions, oils and acids because the cartridges withstand higher temperatures and pressures.
CLEAN cartridges are resin-bonded depth filter cartridges made of long acrylic fibres bonded with phenolic resins, without a core.
These CLEAN filters are always one integral piece, regardless of length, and are never glued together.
Applications
Lacquer, paint, printing ink, adhesives, resins, emulsions, petroleum, washing process water, organic solvents, animal or vegetable fats, mild acids and bases (pH = 5-9).
Not recommended for oxidising media or food industry applications.
- Material: acrylic fibres, phenolic resin bonded
- Flow rate: max 19 litres per 9 ¾” length
- Viscosity: max 3250 mPas
- Filtration rating: 2-5-10-25-50-75-125-150 micron
- Length: 9 ¾ ” –10”–20”–30”–40”,
- Internal diameter: 28 mm
- External diameter: 62 mm
- Max temperature: 121 Celsius
- Max differential pressure: 10 bar /21 C
- 8.6 bar /38 C
- 6.2 bar /65 C
- 4.5 bar /82 C
- 1.7 bar /121 C

SORB
SORB
SORB activated carbon cartridges offer good filtration capacity for hydrocarbons and organic compounds.
SORB activated carbon cartridges are pressed and extruded under high pressure to prevent carbon particles being released into the filtrate. They offer excellent adsorption characteristics for chlorine and organic compounds.
Applications
Potable water, spirits, water-based and organic solvents for removal of colour, odour and taste contamination. Electroplating baths: removal of organic contamination from nickel and copper baths through anodic oxidation or cathodic reduction.
Properties: type 1 / type 2
Filtration rating: 1,5′ and 10um / 5 um
Efficiency: 95% / 95%
